Asia - Singapore was mighty hot - unpleasantly so actually. We only stayed a night - but in that time we took a good few buses around the city and saw a lot - so not too much guilt - a fairly boring city by day - it really lights up at night - like a high rise Christmas Tree.

We took an over night bus over the border and into Malaysia  and up into the Cameron Highlands - a large area famous for growing tea & trekking - the weather changed here - rain - so no trekking and to be honest the town was fairly manky.

So we decided to leave there after a few days & head to Penang - an Island off the coast of Malaysia. The guide book said it was "a must do" - the guidebook is a liar & we're beginning not to trust it. It's just another city - albeit rubbish. We were intending to spend 3 nights here but we boarded a bus at 5am the following morning & crossed the border into our 4th country in 6 days - Thailand.
